Meet Dr. Jaime Easton

Optometrist

Dr. Jaime Easton is a Charlottesville native who has been practicing in the Charlottesville area since 2006. Her areas of specialization include primary eye care for all ages, specialty contact lens fittings, binocular vision examinations, and disease management. Her goal is to provide comprehensive, quality eye care to residents of her native community in an environment which would allow for personalized interaction.

Dr. Easton earned her Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Virginia in 1998 (Chemistry and Psychology) and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2005. While attending IU, her scholastic achievements allowed her to be one of a select group of students to complete a six month internship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. From 2005 to 2006, she completed a residency with heavy emphasis on ocular disease, vision rehabilitation, and primary care at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. Easton is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Virginia Optometric Association (VOA), and Shenandoah Valley Optometric Society (SVOS). Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children.
